Scylla, - 26 photo's.

In memory of the last "Leander class Frigate",  and the last ship, built here at Devonport in 1968.

Now, in 2004, she rests on the seabed in Whitsands Bay as an "Artificial Reef".

At one time it was hoped that if you can't "Dive" but would like the chance to view Scylla for yourself from the Submarine "Alicia" shown above,
you could have visited the National Marine Aquarium website at :-

to find out how this would have been possible.
Unfortunately, it now seems that in 2007 this opportunity no longer exists,
and the photos of "Alicia" are retained here purely to show what "Might Have Been".
